Fabrizio Falchi has a Ph.D. in Information Engineering from University of Pisa (Italy), and a Ph.D. in Informatics from Faculty of Informatics of Masaryk University of Brno (Czech Republic). In 2003 he received a Research Fellowship from the Networked Multimedia Information System Laboratory of the Information Science and Technologies Institue of the Italian CNR in Pisa, where, from 2006, he is a collaborator. His research interests include similarity search, distributed indexes, multimedia content management systems, content-based image retrieval, Peer-to-Peer systems.
